The initial mouthfeel is that of big gulp of fruit, mainly cherries approaching cherry cola. It has good acidity and structure. The tannins have been softened and tamed by the Caucasian oak, and at the end chocolate and dried fruit emerge and add complexity to this easy drinking wine. Anything from grilled sausages, pasta with spicy marinara sauce.
